Free Facebook video and Reels downloader
Download public Facebook videos without an account. This tool accepts Watch, Reel, and page video URLs on facebook.com and short fb.watch links. Private, friends-only, and login-walled posts are not supported.
How it works
Paste the public URL, click Get Video, then pick a quality if more than one is found. Facebook changes page markup often, so a public link that fails can work again later. See the Facebook FAQ for URL formats that usually work.
Use the individual Facebook video link
Open the video or Reel and choose Copy link from its share menu. Use the video's address rather than the address of a profile, group, or feed. A video shared with friends or inside a private group is not a public video.
When a public video is unavailable
Facebook can require login or limit access by region, and page changes may interrupt downloads. Confirm that the link still opens as a public video, then retry later if necessary. See the Facebook video download FAQ for supported link formats.
- Public Watch, Reel, and video post URLs
- SD/HD when Facebook still exposes them
- MP4 download, up to 200 MB, with links that refresh before they expire
Also: X / Twitter, Instagram, TikTok.
Save the video on your phone or computer
iPhone or iPad
Open this tool in Safari, paste the public video link, and choose Get Video. Select an available quality and choose Download Now. Check Safari's downloads list or the Downloads folder in Files. If the browser opens the video, use its share menu to save it; available options depend on your iOS version.
Android
Open the tool in your browser, paste the link, and choose Get Video, then Download Now. Look in your browser's downloads list or your device's Downloads folder. If an in-app browser cannot save the file, open this page in your regular browser and try again.
Windows or Mac
Paste the public link, choose Get Video, select a quality when offered, and choose Download Now. Your browser saves the file to its download folder or asks where to put it, depending on your settings.
Quality and download limits
The available qualities come from the source; the tool does not upscale the video or guarantee HD. Files must be within the 200 MB limit. Download links expire, so return to the tool and request the video again if an old link stops working. Save only content you own or have permission to download.
